Cost and Financial Aid
The role of the Mines Financial Assistance Program is to enable students to enroll and complete their educations, regardless of their financial circumstances. In fulfilling this role, the Office of Financial Aid administers more than $30 million in total assistance, half of which is in the form of grants and scholarships.
Our goals are:
- To make Mines a possibility for all students and families regardless of their financial circumstances
- To recognize outstanding academic achievements by students
- To promote the general goals and mission of Mines, including diversity of the student body, student participation in activities, student retention and graduation from Mines
- To assist as many students as possible in achieving these goals within the limitations of our Mines, federal and state funds
