MINES MEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS AT REGIS, 63-60

DENVER, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team ended its regular season with a 63-60 loss at Regis in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Saturday night at the Regis Fieldhouse.

CSM will open play in the RMAC/Wells Fargo Shootout on Wednesday as the No. 7 seed with a record of 16-11 (10-9 RMAC). The Orediggers will play a quarterfinal game at second-seeded Fort Lewis (21-4, 16-3 RMAC) at 7:00 pm. The winner will advance to the semifinals at the World Arena in Colorado Springs to face the winner of third-seeded Metro State and sixth-seeded Colorado Christian on Saturday at 6:30 pm.

In Saturday's game, Mines received a game-high 29 points from junior guard Kevin Wagstaff (Colorado Springs, Colo./Rampart), while Regis center Austin Christiansen notched 15 points and eight rebounds.
