MINES MEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATS FORT HAYS STATE, 86-75 GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines junior guard Kevin Wagstaff (Colorado Springs, Colo./Rampart) scored a career-high 34 points and added three steals as the Oredigger men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with an 86-75 victory over Fort Hays State in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Friday night in Volk Gymnasium. Mines improves to 14-8 overall and 8-6 in the RMAC, while the Tigers fall to 15-7 (9-5 RMAC). CSM senior guard Stephen Bahl (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) added 13 points, five rebounds and three steals, while freshman forward Ben Mohr (Colorado Springs, Colo./Palmer) chipped in 12 points and nine boards and senior forward Farris Broussard (San Jose, Calif./Independence) registered 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots. FHSU was paced by Tyrone Shephard who tallied 25 points and four rebounds. Derrick Turner posted 13 points and nine rebounds and Derrick Graham (12) and Jeremy Atwater (11) also scored in double figures for the Tigers.
