CSM MEN'S BASKETBALL DROPS TWO AT NEBRASKA-OMAHA OMAHA, Neb. - The Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team dropped two games over the weekend at the Nebraska-Omaha Thanksgiving Classic. On Friday, the Orediggers fell in double overtime, 105-94, to South Dakota and then fell to Nebraska-Omaha, 74-61, on Friday night. In the loss to USD, Mines trailed 42-29 at the half, but outscored the Coyotes, 49-36, in the second half. Each team posted 14 points in the first overtime, but South Dakota would go on to outscore Mines, 13-2, over the final overtime session to claim the win. Mines senior guard Stephen Bahl (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) led all scorers with a career-high 50 points on 20-of-31 shooting, including 9-of-12 from three point land. Josh Mueller led USD with 28 points. In the loss to UNO, the Orediggers trailed, 44-20, at halftime, as they shot just 5-of-26 from the field in the opening 20 minutes. Bahl again led Mines with 19 points, while sophomore guard Franklin Ryk (Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain) added 17 points and senior forward Farris Broussard (San Jose, Calif./Independence) added 12 points and seven boards. Andre Tarpley led UNO with 19 points, while Levy Jones tallied 11 points and 11 boards. Mines (3-2) will return to action on Saturday night when
