MINES MEN'S BASKETBALL LOSES AT FORT LEWIS, 75-42

DURANGO, Colo. - The seventh-seeded Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 75-42 loss at second-seeded Fort Lewis in the First Round of the RMAC/Wells Fargo Shootout Wednesday night at Whalen Gymnasium.

CSM concludes its season with an overall mark of 16-12, while the Skyhawks (22-4) advance to the semifinals where it will face third-seeded Metro State on Saturday night at the World Arena in Colorado Springs.

CSM was led by senior guard Stephen Bahl (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) who totaled 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals, while junior guard Kevin Wagstaff (Colorado Springs, Colo./Rampart) added 10 points.

Fort Lewis received 14 points and nine boards from Nick Brooks off the bench, while Ryan Sonnek scored a game-best 17 points.
