MINES WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS AT FORT HAYS STATE, 54-43

HAYS, Kan. - The Colorado School of Mines women's basketball team dropped a 54-43 decision at Fort Hays State's Gross Memorial Coliseum in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Saturday night.

Mines (13-6, 7-4 RMAC) was led by senior forward Kristin Horkey (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins) who scored 14 points and notched nine rebounds and blocked four shots.

FHSU (16-2, 10-1 RMAC) received 14 points and five rebounds from Laura Cowan.

CSM is slated to return to action Tuesday night when it travels to Colorado Christian for a 6:00 pm game.
