KEITH WILSON
ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH - DEFENSIVE LINE

2007 marks Keith Wilson's fourth season as an assistant football coach at Colorado School of Mines. His duties once again include coaching the defensive line, as well as coordinating the team's strength and conditioning programs.

Under Wilson's tutelage, defensive end Marin Richardson earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in 2006. Richardson, who was named the RMAC's Freshman Defensive Player of the Year in 2004, finished with 62 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss and a team-high six sacks last season. Richardson, who will be a senior in 2007, is also a two-time National Football Foundation (NFF) Second-Team All-Colorado selection.

In 2005, Wilson was instrumental in helping Richardson and Mark Donnelly earn Second Team All-RMAC recognition.

During his time as the strength and conditioning coach at CSM, Wilson has been instrumental in helping the squad set several team and personal records in the weight room.

Wilson came to CSM after serving as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Texas Christian University from 2002-04. He has also served as an assistant coach at Muskogee High School and Northeastern State.

Wilson earned a B.A. in Heath and Human Performance (1999) and a master's degree in Higher Education (2002) from Northeastern State. Wilson and his wife, Angela, currently make their home in Golden.
