GOLDEN, Colo. (Feb. 25, 2008) - Colorado School
of Mines head men's soccer coach Frank Kohlenstein has announced the
signing of nine incoming freshmen to National Letters of Intent. The
2008 CSM soccer recruiting class is one of the deepest and strongest
classes in the past ten years. Colorado School of Mines concluded
the 2007 season with an 11-9-2 overall record and went 7-6-1 in the
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) last fall. MORE

GOLDEN, Colo. (Jan. 24, 2008) - Former Colorado School of Mines
men's soccer player Craig Thompson was drafted by the Houston Dynamo
in today's 2008 Major League Soccer (MLS) Supplemental Draft. A 5'8",
160-lb. forward from Littleton, Colo. (Highlands Ranch High School),
Thompson was selected 28th overall by Houston this afternoon. Thompson,
who garnered NSCAA / adidas First Team All-Midwest Region honors following
his senior season in 2007, also earned First Team All-RMAC and Daktronics
First Team All-Midwest Region accolades last fall. MORE
