ASSISTANT SOFTBALL COACH
NICOLE TRIMBOLI

Nicole Trimboli begins her first season as an assistant softball coach for the Orediggers in 2008.

Trimboli served as an assistant coach at the University of Maine in 2006 and as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Nebraska in 2005. Trimboli has also conducted lessons as a personal instructor to high school players since 2002.

A 2005 graduate from the University of Nebraska (Bachelor's in Education and Human Sciences), Trimboli earned All-Big 12 honors during three of her four seasons with the Cornhuskers. During her career at Nebraska, Trimboli led Nebraska to a pair of Big 12 titles (2001 and 2004), as well as to a fifth-place showing at the College World Series. A two-time All-Midwest Region pick, Trimboli led NU in RBI, doubles, triples, home runs and total bases during her senior season. Trimboli was selected as Nebraska's Best Offensive Player in 2001 and 2004, as well.

Following her collegiate career, Trimboli played professionally for the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Akron Racers in 2004 and 2005. Trimboli, who was also a member of the NPF Chicago Bandits in 2006 and 2007, guided the Racers to the NPF Championship in 2005. Trimboli earned NPF All-Star recognition during both of her seasons with Akron.
