CSM SWIMMING COMPETES AT COLORADO COLLEGE FIVE-WAY

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed at Colorado College on Friday in a five-way meet with Mines, CC, Air Force, Metro State and North Dakota. The men posted a 2-2 mark with wins over Colorado College and Metro State, while the women went 1-3 with a triumph over Metro State.

On the men’s side, junior Andy McAliley (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill) who placed fourth in the 1000 Free (10:36.24), fifth in the 100 Fly (55.68) and seventh in the 100 Back (57.62).

The Mines women were paced by junior Megan Fry (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) who was third in the 100 Free in 57.02 and fourth in the 200 Free with a time of 2:03.17.

Both teams will return to action on Nov. 13 when they travel to Colorado College for a dual meet.
