MINES TRACK AND FIELD COMPETES AT COLORADO INVITATIONAL BOULDER, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines outdoor track and field teams continued its spring season by competing at the University of Colorado Invitational on Saturday at Potts Field. The meet was unscored. Leading the way for the women's squad was junior Serena Gardiner (Elizabeth, Colo./Elizabeth) who was fourth in the 800-meters in 2:20.36 and seventh in the 400-meters (1:00.82). Junior Hannah Davey (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen) was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:50.74. On the men's side, sophomore Ryan Miles (Gretna, Neb./Gretna) placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:05.46, while freshman Ryan Inman (Colorado Springs, Colo./Palmer) was fourth in the 3,000-meters in 8:46.99.
