Golden, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines women's softball team took three of four games April 27 and 28 from Adams State College to finish the season at 22-24 overall and 16-20 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The Orediggers' performance in the final weekend of regular season play was enough to secure the team's first playoff appearance in school history. The 'Diggers also bounced Adams State and CU-Colorado Springs from the final RMAC playoff spot.

The 22-24 overall record is the best record in school history.
