UNDERGRADUATE MINOR • • • [DIVISION OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS]

Undergraduate programs within the Division of Economics and Business include a major in Economics, a minor in Economics and Business and an area of special interest in Economics and Business. The Division also serves the broader CSM community through its offering of Principles of Economics for non-majors, part of the CSM coursework core.

Minor Requirements:

18 credit hours/6 courses in EBGN.

Take Principle of Microeconomics (EBGN311) and Principles of Macroeconomics (EBGN312). These two courses fulfill credit for Principles of Economics (EBGN201).

If Principles of Economics (EBGN201) is taken prior to the 311/312 sequence, it may be used to satisfy 3 of the 18 required hours. However, the 311/312 sequence must still be completed.

The remaining credit hours may be any EBGN courses.

Benefit: All CSM students must complete nine credits of H&SS electives (formerly known as Clusters). You will notice many EBGN classes in the list of approved courses. Students are able to count up to six hours of EBGN credits towards the HS&S electives and apply the credits towards a minor.
