Our Mission:

To stimulate participation in our field and increase the understanding of our science at the student and professional level through courses, lectures, and field trips.

Our History:

We were stablished on Febuary 26th, 1987 as the first SEG student chapter under our first advisors Rich Hutchinson, Sam Adams, and Sam Romberger. Since that time we have gone on many local and international field trips, produced publications, and held short courses & symposiums, all in addition to our nearly weekly lecture series.
