CSM Photo Contest: Rules

  1. Entrants submitting photographs for the contest must be a(n);
    • CSM student who participated in a CSM-sponsored study abroad program in the past year.
    • International students studying at CSM.
  2. Photograph entries must be the original work of the entrant and must be photographs taken in the host country (within the USA for an International student) where the entrant studied abroad.
  3. Photograph entries must be submitted online at the OIP’s website.
  4. A maximum of 10 photos may be submitted per person. Entrants must register online using their Mines webmail account in order to login and submit their photos.
  5. Entrants must rename their photo files to “<mines_email_id>-01” for easy management.
  6. Entrants should also write their full name, the title of the picture, and the place and country where the picture is taken in the description box on the website.
  7. Entrants must complete a contest entry form. By signing and submitting this entry form, entrants are agreeing to grant the Office of International Programs license for use of the photographs in displays related to the contest and in their printed and electronic publications. The entrant will be fully credited in all such displays and publications.
  8. All decisions of the judges are final. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries which do not conform to the stated contest rules and criteria.
  9. Deadline for entries is Friday, September 19 by 5:00 PM. Judging will be completed and winners notified electronically thereafter.
  10. Winners will have their photos published in the Office of International Programs' calender. If you win, you will need to sign a release form before we can publish them.
