The Archive is accessible to all users by
appointment only.
- To make an appointment, call 303-273-3694
(Library Reference Desk) or email .
- Appointments are available 10:00 am – 2:00 pm,
Monday – Friday, when the Library is open.
Please schedule and confirm appointments at least
24 hours in advance. A librarian will be available
to assist you in the Archive during your
appointment.

In addition to Library-wide policies, the following
apply to use of the Archive:
- All users must—
- Fill out an Archive User Registration Form
- Present a valid picture ID at each visit to
the Archive
- Fill out an Archive Visit Form for each
visit to the Archive
- Only paper, pencils and personal computer
devices (laptops, PDAs, etc.) are allowed in the
Archive. All other materials and carry-ins (coats,
bags, folders, etc.) must be left at the
designated area by the Archive entrance.
- A Library staff person must supervise Archive
use at all times.
- The Archive shelves are "closed" to users. The
librarian will retrieve all materials from the
shelves for the user.
- All Archive materials must remain in the
Archive.
Duplication (photocopies, digital copies) of
Archive materials:
- Self-service photocopying is unavailable.
- To order copies from the Library, use the
Request Form
for Non-CSM Users on the Library's website.
- This is a for-fee service. Current costs
are available at
Interlibrary Loan Fees.
- Most requests are filled within 5 days.
Rush requests for copies are available for an
additional cost.
- Copying is subject to the physical
condition of the item. Fragile or endangered
items (as determined by the Library) will not
be copied.
- Duplication in violation of copyright or
duplicating large segments of a collection is
prohibited.
- You must obtain permission in advance to
use your own duplicating equipment (camera,
scanner, etc.) on Archive materials.
