The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (MCS) offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematical and Computer Sciences, as well as undergraduate coursework for all students at the Colorado School of Mines. An ongoing departmental priority is the improvement of teaching and learning. The academic programs offered through MCS give students the unique opportunity to learn in an engineering environment, and to develop applications- oriented techniques to problem solving.
