Applying to the Program

We invite you to apply to the McBride Honors Program once you have been admitted to Colorado School of Mines. The 2008 deadline for application is September 22, 2008.

If admitted into the Program, you will begin taking Honors seminars in the Spring semester of your freshman year. Students who are admitted into the program are exempt from all Liberal Arts required courses except for LAIS100-Nature and Human Values. By taking HRNS202-Comparative Political and Economic Sytsems, McBride Honors students are exempt from taking SYGN200-Human Systems. If a student leaves the McBride Honors program without completing HRNS202, he/she must take SYGN200.
