Women
in
Geophysics Mentoring Program
at the Colorado School of Mines
What is WIG?
The Women in Geophysics (WIG)
at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) is a mentoring program
sponsored by the Department of Geophysics, Dr. Phil Romig, and
ChevronTexaco. WIG is open to all women undergraduate and
graduate geophysics students at the CSM as well as interested,
Denver metro area women in geoscience.
WIG pairs undergradute and graduate
students with a female mentor from the geoscience industry, government
or academia. We also offer social events which promote networking and
balancing school and life.
