MSEC News
The Materials Science and Engineering Club (MSEC) joins all Metallurgy and Materials Science national societies at CSM together to form one united club. The purpose of MSEC is to promote a greater sense of fellowship among all student societies with the MME Department and to provide a home for those students who have not joined national student societies. This goal will be accomplished by connecting and coordinating the activities of the professional societies within the Department through the formation of an Executive Council (EC) consisting of the club officers, the student society presidents, and the faculty advisor.
Join MSEC this year for lots of fun! Planned activities include: plant tours, weekly luncheons with guest speakers, barbecues, fundraisers, scholarships, and much more. MSEC is the CLUB TO JOIN if you are interested in social activities and are looking forward to getting involved in the MME Department. Come, check us out. Meeting and activity schedule can be found at http://www.mines.edu/stu_life/organ/msec/.
