What’s available:
After completion of a training class, any person employed as a classroom teacher in the state of Colorado is eligible to check out a classroom communication system for his/her use. At least for now, the check out duration will be three weeks. Currently, this check out can include any or all of the following:
*you may already have a computer in your classroom that is adequate. System requirements are:
for Windows Operating System
IBM compatible Pentium or higher microprocesor
At least one open serial port
A minimum of 64 MB RAM; 128 MB RAM is recommended
At least 20 MB of hard drive space for CPS software; databases require more room
Windows 95 operating system or higher
Screen resolution of 800x600 or betterfor Mac Operating System
G3 or better processor
At least one open USB port
A minimum of 64 MB RAM; 128 MB RAM is recommended
Mac OS 9.1 or better

Training classes:
Classes to prepare teachers to confidently use the classroom communication system technology are offered on an on-going basis. They are announced through the current course catalogue published by the Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education.Location: CSM campus, Golden
Recertification credit:1 semester credit hour.
