Many graduate programs at Mines have rolling admissions policies. Appplications are accepted by the graduate office. The office recommends applying by Jan. 15 for fall semester and Aug. 1 for spring semester. See additional details at www.mines.edu/Admiss/grad. Admission is highly selective. Nearly 3,900 students apply each year, about 2,750 are accepted, and approximately 850 enroll. Applicants average scores include 1250 on the SAT, 27 on the ACT and 3.7 GPA. High school students
may apply for admission anytime after the 11th grade, but before May
1 of their senior year, for fall admission. December 15 is the deadline
for spring admission.
