| CSM
has changed from the days when engineers were mostly men. Today, 25 percent
of our undergraduates are women, and the CSM WISEM Program is working hard
to increase that number. WISEM sponsors programs for women students and faculty, produces the Chevron Lecture Series, and works with the Admissions Office to recruit undergraduate students. WISEM also works closely with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to address women’s issues at CSM, and provide professional and social outlets for women students. |
