Thank you for your interest in group visits to Colorado School of Mines. The campus visit program at Mines is designed for prospective high school students during their college search. In recent years, however, we have received requests from elementary school and middle school groups interested in exposing young students to a college campus. Due to the overwhelming demand of elementary and middle school group tours, Colorado School of Mines is no longer able to schedule these visits through the Admissions Office at this time. Priority will continue to be given to high school students during their college search.

The following options are available for elementary and middle school groups:

Free tours of the Geology Museum

Chemistry Magic Show (the Chemistry Magic Shows are offered on specific dates throughout the semester. There is a $75 fee per group.) Contact Dr. Scott Cowley, scowley@mines.edu.

High Schools may schedule group visits with their students be emailing tour@mines.edu or calling 303.273.3220, option 2.
