‘It's a Mines World After All'
Colorado School of Mines Celebrates Homecoming

GOLDEN, Colo., Oct. 8, 2007 – Colorado School of Mines will celebrate homecoming, themed “It's a Mines World After All,” Oct. 11-13.

Jessica Bowser, civil engineering student and homecoming chair, said this year's theme is based on the Disney ride “It's a Small World After All,” which emphasizes diversity and interconnectedness.

The full schedule of events follows:

Oct. 11
5 p.m.: Powderpuff Football; Intramural fields
9:30 p.m.: Mines Activity Council Movie: Ratatouille ; Student Center ballrooms

Oct. 12
11:30 a.m.: Golden Chamber and CSM Athletics Silver and Blue Luncheon; Friedhoff Hall, Green Center
5 p.m.: Barbecue, field events, concert featuring Kinetix and the Kory Brunson Band, Powderpuff Football playoffs; Intramural fields
8 p.m.: Comedian Cash Levy; Bunker Auditorium, Green Center

Oct. 13
7:30 a.m.: Community breakfast; Foss Drug parking lot
10-11 a.m.: Parade down Washington Street
Noon: Football vs. Western New Mexico University; Brooks Field
