Traffic Regulations
In
addition to City of Golden traffic ordinances and applicable State of Colorado
statutes the following special regulations shall be enforced on the CSM campus.
Violations of CSM specific motor vehicle and parking regulations on campus shall
be handled by CSM whenever possible. Other violations shall be referred to the
City of Golden Municipal Court or Jefferson County Court, as appropriate, for
prosecution. Sanctions provided in this Vehicle Operation and Parking Policy,
the City of Golden traffic ordinances and applicable State of Colorado statutes
shall be imposed upon violators, if convicted.
A. The speed limit on the CSM campus is 25 miles per hour unless otherwise
posted.
B. The operation of motor vehicles and bicycles on sidewalks and lawns is
prohibited except by CSM employees and contractors when required for official
business and upon permission from the CSM Department of Public Safety.
C. Making "U" turns in the middle of the block is prohibited on the CSM campus.
