Christiansen, Senate Secretary, called the meeting to order.
COMMENTS FROM GUESTS:
- Kyle Fitzpatrick reported that ASCSM was disappointed with the Senate's approval of the plus/minus grading system
even though it does not affect the undergraduates directly.
- Rob Applegate reported that Graduate Student Association Research Fair will be April 5, 2006 in the Green Center
from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
PRESENTATION:
- BS in Manufacturing Engineering - Mark Lusk presented the concerns with the proposed degree and John Moore presented
the rationale of the proposed degree. A lengthy discussion with the Senators ensued. No decision was made.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Next Senate Meeting - April 18, 2006 - Approval of graduation lists
- Andersen announced that no nominations have been received for the Senate positions.
