Application Procedures

For Freshmen, Transfer and International applicants:

Apply FREE using our online application and instructions.

If you prefer to use a paper application, you may call 888-446-9489 or e-mail the Admissions Office. Paper applications require a $45 fee. The Colorado Uniform Application is available in all Colorado High Schools.

Along with the Application for Admission, please submit the following materials:

Most current high school/secondary school transcript (If you did not graduate from high school, please submit your GED scores.)
All college/university transcripts
ACT or SAT scores (if you are applying as a first-time freshman).

Returning Students:

If you previously attended Mines as a degree-seeking student and would like to return, please print the returning student application, complete and submit it to the Admissions Office. We will mail you a letter regarding your status.
