Mines ranks 29th in U.S. News' top 50 Public National Universities

GOLDEN, Colo., Aug. 17, 2010 – Colorado School of Mines ranked 29th in the Top 50 Public National Universities and 72nd among Best National Universities, both public and private, according to the 2011 edition of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News and World Report.

Additionally, Mines ranked 52nd in the publication’s listing for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs at schools whose highest degree is a doctorate.

Last year, Mines ranked 34th in the Top 50 Public National Universities and 77th among Best National Universities.
