Mines ranks in U.S. News and World Report's Best Graduate Schools 2012

GOLDEN, Colo., March 15, 2011 – Colorado School of Mines ranks 64th in U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking of engineering graduate schools.
Several of Mines' graduate engineering programs also were ranked including chemical engineering at 49th, environmental engineering at 34th and materials engineering at 26th.
U.S. News rankings are based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators measuring the quality of a school's faculty, research and students. Data is collected from administrators at more than 1,200 programs.
