Mines celebrates Diamond AnniversarE-Days 2009
GOLDEN, Colo., March 26, 2009 – Colorado School of Mines students will celebrate the 75th year of Engineer’s Days (E-Days) April 2-4.
Highlights of this year’s event include:
- A fireworks show at Brooks Field at 9 p.m. April 2
- The Ore-cart pull to the State Capitol begins at 8 a.m. April 3. Students will make their annual march from the intersection of Simms Street and Colfax Avenue to downtown Denver where Sen. Moe Keller will read a Mines E-Day proclamation around 11:30 a.m.
- A concert featuring the Flobots at 7 p.m. April 3
- The Cardboard boat race on Clear Creek at 11 a.m. April 4

PLEASE NOTE: Due to snow in the forecast for this Saturday, the Society of Automotive Engineers Club has decided to postpone the E-Days car show. The show will be hled Saturday, April 11 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.
