Mines ranks in top 50 of U.S. News Top Public Universities

GOLDEN, Colo., Aug. 22, 2008 – Colorado School of Mines was ranked 36th in the Top 50 Public National Universities and 80th among Best National Universities, both private and public, according to the 2009 edition of U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges released today.

Additionally, Mines received a rank of 51 for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs at schools whose highest degree is a doctorate.
