Look in the yellow pages of the telephone book, under "restaurants." After all the restaurants are listed by name, there are listings under the types of food, such as American, barbecue, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Thai, etc. No restaurants are listed here because they are too numerous and they often change names. For more information, you might check out these online guides to restaurants in the area:

8. Shopping malls:

9. Movie Theaters: See the newspapers for current listings. If you want to read some reviews for movies playing now or movies on video, there are great archives to read at this site or at the New York Times Online. (You'll have to sign on to the New York Times in order to read the online paper)

10. Books, magazines, newspapers in languages other than English:

Using the buses.

When you use the public bus service, called RTD, you can ask for a transfer pass if you have to change buses. There is no charge for the pass and using a pass means you don't have to pay again.

RTD fares are cheaper between 9:00 and 3:00. Before and after those hours the buses are more crowded and therefore more expensive to use. You must have exact change; no change will be given by the driver.

RTD schedules are in the INTERLINK secretary's office. A route map for RTD is on the wall in the video room, or see the secretary.

RTD to downtown Denver: take bus 16, ride it to the end. Return by catching the bus at the same sight where you got off.
