Background:

Marcia Lane has taught at INTERLINK at CSM for six complete years. Her education is from the University of Colorado at Denver (Masters in Language and Culture)and Buena Vista College in Iowa (English Bachelor of Arts). She lived in Cameroon, West Africa, for two years, where she met her husband while both served in the U.S. Peace Corps.

Her additional teaching experience includes community colleges in Washington state and Colorado; adult education in Hawaii, Washington, and Colorado; and secondary school in Washington.

Marcia's love for the outdoors is often reflected in the activities she plans for the students of INTERLINK.  She has outings such as hikes, ski trips, swimming trips, and camping.  The popularity of the professional sports scene in Denver is shared by Marcia and her students by attending games such as the Rockies Baseball games. Miniature golf, softball, bowling, trips to museums, contests among the students are also included on a regular basis. Because she has lived in Colorado 17 years, she has learned about the history and the fun activities in this beautiful state.

Marcia has developed the INTERLINKActivities Handbook which is full of many many things to do in and around Golden.  It's available here at our web site.
