The Health Center
The Student Health Center is located at 17th and
Elm, across from the IM field. It is staffed by registered nurses and at least one nurse practitioner
throughout the day. Physician coverage is provided by a group of family
practice physicians who are on site from 3:00pm-4:45pm Mon.-Fri. and are on call at
all times.
Students who are enrolled in at least four hours pay a $46.50 Health Center fee which covers the services listed below. Spouses of students may also pay the $46.50 fee and receive care at the Health Center.
The dental clinic is staffed by a dentist, a dental assistant, and a dental hygienist and provides basic dental services such as exams, cleaning, x-rays, simple restorations and education regarding good dental hygiene. Dental services are provided on a fee-for-services basis and are available to all students who have paid the Health Center fee. Students enrolled in CSM's Student Health Benefit Plan will receive dental care for reduced fees.
