Minority Engineering ConferenceThe Minority Engineering Conference is designed to inform 7th-11th grade students, their teachers and counselors about science, engineering and technology at Colorado School of Mines and other Colorado colleges and universities.
Workshop topics include Admissions, Financial Aid/Scholarships, Pre-College Summer Programs, Academic Preparation for College and Hands-on Engineering Workshops.
Minority students with a strong interest in math and science are encouraged to attend.
MEC 2009 will be held Wednesday, February 18th (High School Students) and on Thursday, February 19 (Middle School Students), 2009.More information to follow after December 1, 2008.
