Bike share program on CSM campus
Goal: Develop and implement a campus bicycle share program, similar to community bike programs in Europe and in some parts of the U.S. Description: Collaborating the efforts of EBW, several EPICS 2 teams, the CSM Sustainability Committee, and the Golden Optimists, the plan is to have a working and sustainable bike share program on the Mines campus soon. EBW is serving to help advertise and generate interest in the CSM community as well as propose the idea for such a program to the City of Golden. The EPICS 2 teams are working on the logistics of a bike share while the Sustainability Committee is providing administrative support. The Golden Optimists are a local club who provide the uses bikes for the program.
