Purpose:

The senior year for undergraduate geophysicists is a time to utilize techniques learned in the previous four years. A comprehensive field trip to a region that contains a broad variety of both geological and geophysical phenomena is the perfect way to en hance and refine the Mines learning experience. The planning of this field trip culminates this experience and requires teamwork, leadership, and cooperation among the entire graduating geophysics class.
