- President:
Jean Romersheuser
Jean is a native Coloradoan from Eagle. She has always enjoyed participating in many activities that include: camping, hiking, knitting, and reading. This is her fourth year at the Colorado School of Mines with plans to graduate the next year with a specialty in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. On campus Jean has been involved in Blue Key, Society of Women Engineers, a Mines Ambassador, and is a Conoco-Phillips Scholar. During the summer of 2006 Jean participated in an internship with ATK-Thiokol at their Promontory Point facility near Brigham City, Utah. Experiences with ATK were varied and included trying to improve performance on a robotic painter for the outside of the solid rocket boosters. The Utah experience also included a vicious bite from an unknown insect which left her with some reluctance to walk in the desert. Additionally, her summer allowed her to fine tune her golf game and acquire a new set of clubs.

- Vice President:
Rebecca Johnson
I am currently a junior majoring in geophysical engineering. I am a Florence Caldwell scholarship recipient and had a blast being on the SWE Region I conference planning committee this past spring. I work(ed) during the summer for WesternGeco/Schlumberger and during the school year I assistant coach a high school debate team. I am a member of the Mines Dance Team and also enjoy scrap booking, hiking, rock climbing, and cooking. I hope to inspire more people to get involved with our awesome SWE section and take advantage of all the great opportunities it has to offer.

- Treasurer:
Andrea Ham
My name is Andrea Ham and I am a Junior this year, studying Civil Engineering. I was grown in Washington but would rather go Colorado skiing any (and every) day of the week. I jump at any opportunity to play outside or drop in on a game of volleyball and I love to bake when I have extra time. As treasurer I will make sure all your SWE fun is paid for, and I hope to see you around. Don't hesitate to say hi!

- Event Treasurer:
Fallon Donohoue
I am currently a junior pursuing a B.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with a minor in Bioengineering and Life Sciences. I am also part of the Track and Field team where I have the opportunity to participate in some unique events including the javelin, hammer, weight throw, and discus. Aside from school and track, I enjoy anything from camping and hiking to shopping and just hanging out. I have recently taken an interest in rock climbing, but am still trying to figure out all the tricks. This is my first year as a SWE Officer and I am looking forward to the opportunity. I know it will be a great year!

- Awards Chair:
Jennifer Nekuda
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Metallurgy and Materials Engineering department at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). My research on CIS solar cells is a collaboration between the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and CSM. In my spare time I enjoy most outdoor sports including hiking, camping, snowboarding, white water rafting, ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and running. As a Colorado transplant (I am originally from Rock Springs, WY) I have grown to love Golden and the surrounding area. I have been a member of SWE for the last five years, and have been an officer for the last four years. SWE is one of the most beneficial organizations to become involved with on campus and I highly encourage everyone to come to a meeting and check us out!
