Group Exercise Class Descriptions:
Group exercise classes are designed for individuals who want to start an exercise program or continue to improve their current
fitness level. We will offer many types of classes throughout the year ranging from step aerobics to boot-camp classes. These classes
provide healthful exercise, a fun social environment and relieve stress too!
Boot Camp: Do you want a FUN, challenging, and high energy class? This is the class for you! Combining intervals,
circuits, strength moves, and plyometrics, you are sure to get a great workout! Come join-in and you will be on your way to a healthier,
happier new you! All levels welcome!
Body Reformer: A Pilates-based class for all fitenss levels. This class will condition the whole body, improve balance,
and develop muscle control. A variety of equipment and training methods will ensure a great workout that will tone and
strengthen the entire body!
Power Pump: This toning and conditioning class uses a bar and adjustible weights to improve strength and endurance
and to shape and tone your nuscles. This class is great for anyone who wants to add strength training into their workout.
Total Body Power: Get ready to be challenged by this great full-body toning workout! This class is designed to improve
strength and endurance and agility by incorporating plyometrics, circuits, weight training, and cardio into an intense training sequence.
All levels welcome - modifications provided from beginner to advanced.
Beginning Yoga: Beginning yoga for a gentle approach to movement and poses of yoga, emphasizing breath and customizing to the
needs of the participants. No previous experience is necessary, just comfortable clothes.
Power Step: This energizing step workout uses a height-adjustable step to push your fat-buring systems into high gear by
moving on, over, and around the step. This class will improve cardio fitness, muscle strength and endurance, coordination, and agility.
Work hard to shape and tone your body!
HardCORE: Strengthen and tone your entire core area in this intense abs and back workout! This class will improve overall
posture and stability using a variety of exercises and equipment.
Step and Sculpt: This class will tone your entire body by using an adjustable step platform! This cardio workout will
challenge your endurance and burn calories for a leaner body!
Yoga: Yoga for strength of mind and body...using many different yoga styles, the class is customized to the needs of the day. No previous
