Student Development Services facilitate academic and personal success by providing resources that enhance and extend students' learning and growh. We can more effectively accomplish this mission by collaborating with faculty and staff in the campus community who are also dedicated to student learning.

 

An Overview of Services
Student Development has a staff of two Licensed Professional Counselors and one Licensed Clinical Psychologist who offer short-term counseling and referral services to students. Any full-or part-time undergraduate or graduate student, currently enrolled in seven or more semester hours at CSM, is eligible for our services, which are free, voluntary and confidential.


The staff is committed to providing counseling services and preventive programs that stimulate self-understanding, strengthen skills and increase knowledge in the five dimensions of student development: Social, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual and Physical.

Location
Student Development Services is located on the first floor of the Ben F. Parker Student Center, Suite #8. The office is open 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, during the Fall and Spring semesters. Office hours vary during the summer and school breaks. After hours emergency resources can be found here.
