Visiting Mines

Apply to Graduate School

We encourage you to visit the Mines campus and meet with faculty in your department of interest and with the Graduate Office staff. Drop-ins are welcome, though it may be difficult to find a faculty member available during unscheduled visits.

Accepted graduate students can receive up to $300 of travel reimbursement from the Graduate Office for their visit to campus.

To discuss visiting options, contact Jahi Simbai, Director of Graduate Recruiting and Admissions via e-mail at jsimbai@mines.edu. Please indicate which Department(s) you'd like to visit and when you would like to visit (date and time). Additionally, please attach a resume.

We will work with the Departments to find appropriate faculty for you to meet with.

We will contact you via e-mail to confirm the schedule and will provide you a parking permit and directions to campus.
