The "Probe My Ports!" tests are useful for *nix systems. The
"Test My Shields!" tests are predominantly aimed at Windows 9x/NT, but
also could be useful for *nix systems.

your computer is completely safe. For instance, if you have any services
running on your computer that are available via the internet, new security
holes/vulernabilities are found periodically that could allow unauthorized
access to your computer. You should turn off any unneeded services and
keep your OS as up-to-date as possible.]
