Curriculum Requirements
The M.S. Degree in Engineering and Technology Management involves 30 semester hours of coursework. There is a set of core courses that is required of all students in the ETM Program. Each student then can tailor his or her studies by selecting an area of specialization or by completing courses in either specialization.

Non-Thesis Option
The curriculum requires the six core courses (18 hours) listed below. Students also select at least four courses (12 hours) from either the Quantitative Decision Methods/Operations Research Specialty and/or the Leadership and Strategy Specialty.

Thesis Option
Thesis based students complete the six core courses (18 credits) listed below. Students select at least two courses (6 hours) from either the Quantitative Decision Methods/Operations Research Specialty and/or the Leadership and Strategy Specialty. Students also complete six hours of thesis credits.

The purpose of the Course Standards document is to provide guidance to all ETM graduate students regarding the level of instruction, the workload, and the grading policies in ETM courses.
