Student Committee of Environmental Science and Engineering
The student Committee of the Environmental Science and Engineering Division (SCESE) was formed primarily to promote awareness of academic and social issues affecting the students in the Division. Among the responsibilities of the committee are to:
- act as a communications conduit between faculty and students.
- act as an advisory committee to faculty regarding student issues.
- plan and implement social activities such as the fall camp-out, the Christmas party, and the spring get together.
- organize the "Nevis Cook Excellence in Teaching" award.
SCESE is a student run group, made up of students from the Division. If you have any concerns that need to be addressed by the committee, feel free to contact one of the current members or send an e-mail to scese@mines.edu.
