SCESE Election Rules:
The Student Committee of the Environmental Science and Engineering Division (SCESE) will be made up of six representatives. These representatives will include:
The two representatives elected to the Graduate Student Association (GSA) from the ESE Department, one PhD and one Master student, will fill the roles of one of the Masters and one of the PhD members of SCESE. At least one member of the SCESE must also serve on the ESE computer committee.
Election Dates:
2 GSA representatives (one PhD and one Masters) by March 15th (to coincide with GSA elections)
The remainder of the committee will be elected by October 15th.
Notice of elections will be sent out prior to the election dates. Elections will be won by a simple majority vote of the peers.
If at any point the membership of the committee drops below 3 full time students, new elections should be held to replace lost members.
