SCESE Vision Statement

The student committee of Environmental Science and Engineering (SCESE), was formed primarily to promote awareness of academic and social issues affecting students in the ESE Division. As a secondary goal, the SCESE is to act as a conduit between faculty and students helping to facilitate communication as well as playing an active role in defining the direction of the Division.

SCESE is made up of several people representing the student body. The composition of SCESE includes two PhD students, two Masters students (included are the departmental representatives to the graduate student association (GSA)), one first year student, and one executive student. Members of SCESE will be elected by their peers on an annual basis.

As a tertiary goal of the group, SCESE will facilitate Division sponsored activities. Among the recurrent activities are:
