CONGRATULATIONS!! Your paper has been accepted for inclusion in the Proceedings of the 1st North American Landslide Conference.
All volunteered papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings CDROM. In addition, Keynote and Invited papers will published in a Conference Proceedings book. Conference participants will receive both CD and book, and additional copies will be available post-conference.
You have already received the review comments and have made the requested changes. It is now time to upload your "Final Version" of your paper so that the publication process can begin.
This date is needed for us to review and organize the files in a form acceptable to the publisher. Papers that are not resubmitted on time may be deleted from the program! However, papers that were previously accepted without required modifications will be included using the previous version - but authors must understand that such papers will not reflect their desired corrections.
It is thus important that Final (Revised) Versions of all papers be received by the due date.
Please check your paper carefully before you submit it.
Although the uploading procedure will accept multiple uploads of any individual paper, multiple uploads of any paper are not recommended!
Electronic submission of the required "Copyright Transfer Agreement" and "Permission Verification" for publishing all illustrations contained in your paper will be be requested soon. Instructions for doing this task will be sent by E-mail to each author.
The uploading process is the same as was used earlier with the draft papers. It is undertaken at a separate website. You will be automatically transferred to that site when you press the UPLOAD button in the UPLOADING PROCEDURE table below.
In order to protect the site from unauthorized access, you will be prompted to enter a username and a password that is the same for all authors.
The username and password remain the same as before, and have been provided to you in the instructions sent to you by e-mail on August 2006. If you cannot find these codes please contact landslide2007@aegweb.org. Neither the username nor the password are case sensitive.
Upon login, you will be prompted to provide your 5-digit paper ID code. This has been provided to you in several e-mails. If you do not know your 5-digit paper ID code, please contact landslide2007@aegweb.org, and we will provide the code to you. Your paper should be in a file named "5-digit-code.doc"; you will be asked to locate that file on your computer.
When your paper starts to upload we will check the file size of the document. If the file size is bigger than 5.0 Mb your paper will be automatically rejected and it will not be uploaded. If your paper is rejected it is probably because the photographs or graphics embedded in your document are too big. Before attempting to resubmit your paper, please re-read the Author Instructions for guidance on how to size and embed illustrations in your paper to ensure that the document complies with the file size limits. (These Instructions can be accessed through the "Paper Preparation Stanadards" page of this web-site.)
Your paper will be checked for viruses and macros. If either are found, your paper will be automatically rejected. You will then be requested to resubmit the paper after you have removed the virus or macro.
Uploads may take from 30 seconds to several minutes, depending on the speed of your web connections.
During the upload you will receive an indication of the progress of the the uploading process. You will receive a notice on your screen saying your upload is successful. If you do not receive this successful message, your upload has failed. Please try again.
