Paper Preparation Standards

Keynote and Invited papers will be included in a book, all volunteered technical papers will be published on a CD-ROM. Attendees will receive copies of both volumes as part of their registration fee. Additional copies will be available for purchase after the conference.

Draft Paper submissions were due in September 2006, and almost 200 papers have been reviewed. Final Paper versions should be uploaded by January 15, 2007 (see "Final Paper Upload" page). Technical Program planning is now underway.

Manuscript Preparation Procedures that are specific to the First North American Landslide Conference include instructions and templates that assist in preparation of manuscripts with the correct style. These are available for downloading, and are described below.

The Instructions defining the Manuscript Preparation and On Line Submission Procedures are available as a PDF (created using Adobe Acrobat Ver. 6.0), and as a Word document.

Style Templates are available to assist you. Two versions have been created – one for those using US Letter-size paper, and one for those using international A4 paper. These templates are in RTF format and can be loaded into Microsoft Word for your use. Please follow the instructions contained in them.
