Vail, located in a spectacular valley in the heart of the Rocky Mountains
in central Colorado, is about 130 miles west of Denver International Airport.
A free bus system within the community provides a pedestrian-friendly environment.
With a sunny climate and a mountain setting, Vail is an excellent conference location.

Conference Hotel & Hotel Reservations
The Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa, completely renovated in December 2002, has
excellent accommodations and facilities. It is located in the heart of Vail at the
base of Vail Mountain. The hotel has agreed to provide accommodations for Conference
participants at special rates ($110.00/ room single or double occupancy per night).

Social Program
A full social program is planned to encourage informal discussions. Accompanying persons
are invited to participate. In addition to daily lunches and morning and afternoon breaks,
there are three major events:
- Welcome Reception on Sunday evening,
- Chuck Wagon Dinner (cowboy western style) and Social Event at the 4 Eagle Ranch
near Vail on Tuesday evening, and
- Gala Dinner on Thursday evening.
